Verklempt! is a magazine of Jewish culture, art, and literature.
Designed to produce audible gasps at your Shabbat table, and then to be carried to the couch, to be pored over and yelled at, to induce laughter and head nods, and to make you love your neighbor and hate your brother. Your kids will rip it apart as they each try to get a closer look. Your grandmother will sneak a copy into her room at night, and your husband will say that he finds it “boring” and “superficial,” but you’ll catch him glancing over your shoulder as he pretends to read the Journal. You get the idea — some people think it's good, some people think it's bad. But everyone thinks something of it.
