Havurah Artist Collective Membership Terms & Conditions

By joining the Havurah Artist Collective, you agree to the following:

1. You Own Your Work.
All artwork, writing, photography, music, and other creative work you produce remains entirely yours. Joining the Collective does not transfer any ownership or intellectual property rights to Havurah.

2. We’re Here to Champion Your Work.
As a member, you grant Havurah permission to identify you publicly as a member of the Artist Collective and to share, feature, and celebrate your work across Havurah’s website, social media, digital publications, and other owned media platforms. We will credit you appropriately and make reasonable efforts to preserve the context and integrity of your work.

3. No Exclusivity, No Strings Attached.
Membership is entirely non-exclusive. It does not create a representation agreement, employment relationship, or exclusive commissioning arrangement with Havurah. You are always free to work with other organizations, galleries, publications, clients, and collaborators, and to pursue any opportunities independently. Membership does not obligate you to accept work from Havurah or to provide us with work on request.

4. Opportunities and Collaborations.
Havurah may offer members opportunities to participate in exhibitions, publications, events, commissions, and collaborations. Any specific project involving additional rights, compensation, deliverables, or obligations will be discussed and agreed upon separately. Membership alone does not guarantee paid work or other opportunities.

5. Your Work, Your Choice.
You retain control over your creative practice. If you have concerns about a particular feature or would like Havurah to stop sharing a work through its platforms, contact us and we will work with you in good faith to address your request.

6. Our Shared Community.
The Collective exists to support Jewish artists across disciplines, backgrounds, and perspectives. We ask members to engage respectfully with one another and help foster a community that values artistic freedom, generosity, and creative exchange.

By submitting your membership application, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.

We’re glad you’re here. This is your work, your voice, and your creative practice. We’re here to help more people discover it.
